Albuquerque Film Office director Ann Lerner will speak at the May lunch meeting of Albuquerque Press Women & Friends at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 8, at Golden Corral, 5207 San Mateo NE.

Lerner will highlight past and current film production successes for Albuquerque and the outlook for future projects.
With more than 20 years in the film industry, Lerner has led Albuquerque’s effective work in increasing positive economic impact through bringing numerous productions to film in the metro area. Keeping Albuquerque “film friendly” is her number one goal. She will talk about the industry’s economic impact on Albuquerque.
The public is invited, and non-members pay $5 to attend the meeting. Reservations are not needed, and meeting attendees pay for their own lunch buffet items.
