Albuquerque Press Women and Friends will be taking a welcome break from politics in November by hearing from Rosanne Roberts Archuletta, author of Women Marked for History. That’s a wonderful history of the women whose accomplishments became part of the roadside markers you see on every highway in the state. This gives you the back story you were curious about. We meet at Mimi’s Cafe at 11:30 on Monday, November 12.

Rosanne Roberts Archulettta was born in Philadelphia.  She has a BA degree in Communication from Penn State University and a MA degree in Liberal Arts from Naropa University in Boulder.  She moved to Santa Fe in 2003, after living in San Francisco for nearly 20 years.  She, like so many women in the book, fell in love with the great state of New Mexico.  She had been the Principal of R.M. Roberts and Associates, LLC, a human resources consulting firm for twenty years.  Since 2009, she has been the Director of Learning and Development for CUSO Financial Services, a San Diego based FINRA broker-dealer.   As a volunteer she is a member of the statewide council of the New Mexico Small Business Development Centers.

Everyone is welcome at APWF meetings. We do charge non-members an extra $5. You order off the menu and no reservations are required.
